Lorenzo Santolini

Lorenzo Santolini is a Machine Learning Engineer at YouTube, where they focus on building ML models for entity classification and improving best practices across classifier teams. Previously, Lorenzo worked as a Software Engineer II at Google, specializing in infrastructure for machine learning. They are a co-founder of NOVIS, aimed at creating a virtual reality system for visually impaired individuals, and have entrepreneurial experience from their time as a founder at SlowUp. Lorenzo completed their Master’s thesis at MIT's Senseable City Lab, contributing to a project that utilized machine learning for urban sensing. They hold multiple degrees in Computer Engineering from Politecnico di Torino and MIT.
