Lorin Dole

Lorin Dole is a Senior UX Researcher at Google, specializing in human-computer and human-robot interaction through a blend of quantitative and qualitative methodologies. Previously, Lorin worked as a Graduate Student Teaching Consultant at the Vice Provost for Teaching and Learning, and as a Postdoctoral Associate at Cornell Tech. Throughout their academic journey, Lorin earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Washington, followed by multiple degrees from Stanford University, culminating in a PhD in Communication. Lorin's research focuses on the dynamics of interaction and the historical context of search-and-rescue human-robot interaction.
