Luc M. has a diverse background in software engineering and research, with significant experience at major technology companies. At DFINITY, Luc co-designed the Network Nervous System (NNS), a decentralized governance system. Prior experience includes working as a Senior Researcher at CombineNet, where Luc contributed to developing a column-generation optimization technique, as well as an intern and freelance developer at Artelys SA, where support for real-valued decision variables in a constraint-programming solver was added. While at Google, Luc served as a Senior Software Engineer and later as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, playing key roles in teams focused on search queries and the development of Omega, a Container Management System that influenced Kubernetes. Additionally, Luc briefly worked as a Ski Patrol at Saastal Bergbahnen AG.
