Majed Samad is a seasoned researcher with extensive experience in user experience and cognitive neuroscience. Currently serving as a Senior Quantitative UX Researcher at Google since May 2023, Majed previously held roles as a Quantitative UX Researcher at Google from March 2020 to May 2023, and as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Facebook Reality Labs from March 2019 to March 2020. Earlier, Majed worked at Oculus VR as a Research Associate and Research Intern, focusing on perceptual studies related to immersive virtual reality experiences. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Psychology/Cognitive Neuroscience with Computational Cognition from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Master’s Degree in Biochemical Engineering with First Class Honors from University College London.
