Marcus Hartwig

Marcus Hartwig currently serves as the Head of Product Marketing for Security at Google Cloud Platform, a role held since December 2021. Previously, Marcus worked at Vectra AI as the Director of Product Marketing, where responsibilities included overseeing product marketing activities, launching new products, and transitioning towards a cloud and SaaS delivery model. Prior to Vectra AI, Marcus was a Senior Product Marketing Manager at Okta, Inc., achieving a 30% revenue increase for the Okta Universal Directory. Additional experience includes serving as General Manager at Versasec, CEO and Founder of IDFIER INC., and consulting roles at Omegapoint AB, Excanto AB, and Bozoka. Marcus began a career in IT as an IT Manager at SDI Media and as a Freelance Engineer at Sun Studio. Educational background includes a degree from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, completed in 2005.
