Marcus Walldén

Marcus Walldén, PhD, is a Senior Software Engineer at Google, where they focus on delivering customized analytics solutions for the Android Messages app. Previously, they served as a Data Scientist at Qliro, leading the development of new Airflow environments and mentoring interns on machine learning initiatives. During their time as a PhD student at Osaka University, Marcus conducted research in high-performance computing and machine learning, publishing multiple papers on related topics. They also worked as a Specially Appointed Researcher at Sysmex Corporation, contributing to a biotech deep learning project. Marcus holds multiple degrees from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and Osaka University, including a PhD in Computer Science.
