Maria Soussan is a dedicated law student at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, pursuing both a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA). Currently, Maria serves as a volunteer at the National Council for the Child, contributing to support for child victims of violence and sexual crime. As an associate in the Intellectual Journeys program at the Van Leer Jerusalem Institute, Maria engages with philosophical and social issues, while also holding the position of Vice President at the Ambitious Forum for Arabic law students. Additional roles include translating for the Clinical Legal Educational Centre, writing for an international human rights blog, and serving on the editorial board of the Israel Law Review. Recently, Maria was selected for an internship at Google as part of the Legal Summer Institute. Prior experience includes community activism and participation in intergroup dialogue programs.
