Marina Knittel has a diverse background in computer science, combining extensive internship and teaching experience with a robust educational foundation. Marina served as a Camp Counselor for the City of Palo Alto, earning the Gold President’s Award for community service, and later took on roles as a Software Engineering Intern at Facebook and Bloomberg LP, where Marina developed neural network models and optimized code, respectively. Marina further enriched technical skills through positions at Amazon and Google, focusing on research in machine learning and theoretical computer science. With a Bachelor of Science from Harvey Mudd College and dual Master's and PhD degrees from the University of Maryland, Marina has also contributed to academia as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant and delivered upper-division courses on mechanism design.
