Mark Caine is currently a Senior Lead for Energy & Climate at Google, where they guide complex global programs focused on AI energy use and carbon-free initiatives. Previously, they served as the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Lead at the World Economic Forum and taught at Stanford University's Hasso Plattner Institute of Design. Mark also advised the African Union on strategies for a low-carbon future and held policy advisor roles within the UK’s Foreign and Commonwealth Office. They have held academic positions, including a Research Fellow at the London School of Economics, and continue their education at Brown University and the University of Cambridge. Mark is also a Board Member at The Energy for Growth Hub, a think tank dedicated to ending energy poverty.
