Mark Parker Young is an experienced analyst with a significant background in intelligence and international affairs. Young served as a Principal Analyst at Mandiant from May 2022 to September 2022 and currently holds the same title at Google. Previously, Young worked in the Office of the Director of National Intelligence as the Deputy National Intelligence Officer for East Asia from 2018 to 2020 and spent over a decade as an Analyst at the Central Intelligence Agency. Additionally, Young was a Staff Assistant at the House Committee on Armed Services in 2008. In academia, Young obtained a Master of Advanced Study in Global Affairs from Yale University and a Master of Arts in International Affairs from The Fletcher School at Tufts University, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Michigan. Furthermore, Young is a Nonresident Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council as of September 2022.
