Mark Schleifer

Mark Schleifer possesses extensive experience in the field of network engineering and IP engineering. Beginning with a Systems Analyst role at Kandl Data Products from 1993 to 1994, Mark then served as a Member of the Technical Staff at COMSAT Laboratories in 1992-1993. Subsequent positions include Senior Director of IP Engineering at both DIGEX and Intermedia Communications, and Director of IP Engineering at Digital Express Group, all during 1994-2000. From October 2000 to December 2011, Mark held the title of VP IP Engineering at Cogent Communications. Currently, since December 2011, Mark serves as Manager of Network Engineering & Network Security at Google. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland, earned in 1992.
