Markham Erickson is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in Internet and media law, American Indian law, copyright, and antitrust matters. As a founding partner of Holch & Erickson LLP from July 2005 to March 2013, Markham established a strong foundation in these areas, later serving as a partner at Steptoe & Johnson LLP where representation included high-profile cases in telecommunications and media law until September 2019. Currently, Markham serves as Vice President of Government Affairs and Public Policy - Centers of Excellence at Google, leading a global team focused on the intersection of law, policy, technology, and the Internet. Markham's educational background includes a JD with honors from The George Washington University Law School and a BA in English Literature from Wheaton College.
