Marko Velic

Marko Velic is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and engineering management. Currently serving as Director of Engineering and Head of Artificial Intelligence at Photomath, Marko is responsible for establishing an AI research and engineering team, setting strategic direction, and overseeing operational processes. Previous roles include Engineering Manager for Machine Learning at Facebook, Head of Data Science at Styria.AI, and Professor at Visoka škola za primjenjeno računarstvo. As a co-founder of Initium Futuri Ltd., Marko contributed to strategic planning and project management, achieving Microsoft Certified Partner status. Marko's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Information Science and an MBA from esteemed institutions.
