Marsden Hanna currently serves as the Head of Sustainability and Climate Policy at Google, a position held since 2015, following roles including Senior Lead and Lead in Global Energy Policy and Markets. Prior experience includes a tenure at Opower from 2013 to 2015, where Marsden held several leadership roles in Business Analysis, Strategy, and Regulatory Affairs. Education consists of a Master of Public Administration with a focus on Energy and Environment from Harvard Kennedy School, a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a concentration in Business Institutions from Northwestern University. Earlier career experiences include internships at the U.S. Department of Energy and U.S. Department of State, as well as a special assistant role at the Office of Global Change.
