Staff Software Engineer, Tech Lead Manager

Marvin Paul is an accomplished software engineer and angel investor with a diverse background in technology and entrepreneurship. Marvin's career began as a Senior Software Engineer at Overgroup, now Rev.io, where Marvin developed web-based back-office solutions for telecom providers. Following this role, Marvin contributed to research on a Distributed Agent Security system at the University of West Florida. In 2011, Marvin co-founded Capigami, the start-up behind the Out of Milk app, which was acquired by ScoutIt Inc. in 2014. Since 2014, Marvin has held various positions at Google, currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer and Tech Lead Manager, with significant contributions to Google Distributed Cloud and Android projects. As of May 2022, Marvin also serves as an angel investor with Black Angel Group. Marvin holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of West Florida and has prior education in software system engineering from the Hasso Plattner Institute.
