Maryam Tabesh

Maryam (Sahar) Tabesh is a Staff Hardware Engineer at Google, specializing in end-to-end wireless communication and RF systems. With extensive experience in UWB, 5G, and low-power technologies, they have contributed to various product developments, including Project Soli and the first-generation Pixel Watch. Prior to their current role, they held research positions at UC Berkeley and SJSU, where they focused on mm-wave integrated circuits and RF design. Maryam earned a PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from UC Berkeley and has received multiple accolades for their innovative work in the field.
