Mathias Fleck is an experienced professional in user experience and research, with a career spanning from 1999 to the present. Fleck founded FlexGames, LLC and served as a developer from 1999 to 2002. Afterward, Fleck worked as a user research engineer at Microsoft Studios from July 2010 to February 2013 and continued to enhance user experience as a senior user experience researcher at X, the moonshot factory, until September 2016. Fleck then became the user experience lead at Verily Life Sciences from September 2016 to February 2020 and has been serving as a user experience manager at Google since February 2020. Fleck earned a PhD from Duke University, where studies occurred from 2003 to 2009, following a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Chicago from 1996 to 1999.
