Matt Easterly

Matt Easterly has extensive experience in engineering, primarily in aerospace and consumer hardware domains. Early roles included positions as an Engineering Intern and Undergraduate Research Assistant at UCSD, where work focused on unmanned aircraft and material durability. Matt progressed to a Senior Test & Reliability Engineer at United Technologies Aerospace Systems, leading modal analysis and testing for major aircraft components. Transitioning to Google, Matt held various managerial roles, overseeing engineering labs and teams, managing multi-million dollar budgets, and facilitating the development and testing of consumer electronics. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of California, San Diego, and an Associate of Arts degree from San Diego Community College District - Mesa College.
