Matt Harrison

Matt Harrison is a Senior Software Engineer at Google, where they apply their expertise in deep learning engineering and research. With over a decade of experience across industry and academia, Matt has developed notable projects including deep learning for object detection in radar multi-sensor data and automated ground truth label generation. Prior to their current role, they held positions at Metawave Corporation, advancing to Head of AI, and served as a Graduate Teaching and Research Assistant at Colorado State University, where they focused on numerical simulations and deep neural networks. Matt earned a Bachelor's degree and both Master's and Ph.D. degrees in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from the University of Oregon and Colorado State University, respectively.
