Matt Johnston

Matt Johnston is currently the Network Planning Software Lead at Google, where they are part of the Network Optimization and Analysis team. Previously, Matt worked as a research scientist at Boeing Research & Technology, focusing on wireless communication network design and optimization. Matt's earlier experience includes positions as a software engineer at Google and as a graduate student researcher at MIT Lincoln Laboratory, alongside internships that laid the foundation for their expertise in electrical engineering and computer science. They hold a B.S. from the University of California, Berkeley, and multiple degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, including a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering.
