Matt Oursbourn has a diverse background in technical art and design, with notable experience at several leading companies in the entertainment and technology sectors. Oursbourn served as CPO and Lead Artist at Human Engines from 2009 to 2011, and previously held the position of Senior Artist at Blizzard Entertainment from 1999 to 2004. Oursbourn's expertise further expanded at Motorola from 2011 to 2014 as Designer Experience STF Principal in ATAP. Currently, Oursbourn is a Technical Artist at Lightspeed L.A. and has been a Technical Art Director at Google since February 2014, contributing significantly to the Spotlight Stories project and the development of award-winning VR content. Oursbourn played a key role in designing specifications and pipeline tools for the Spotlight Stories SDK, optimizing assets for various platforms, including PC VR and mobile devices.
