Matteo Ruello is a Senior Software Engineer at Google DeepMind, focusing on Gemini Inference and Optimization as well as large-scale ML systems and distributed inference optimization. Previously, Matteo served as a Software Engineer at Google and held the role of Product Owner at FileWave from 2019 to 2022. Matteo gained early experience as a Team Member at Dynamis PRC and interned at Lufthansa Systems in 2016. Matteo holds a Master of Science in Robotics, Systems, and Controls from Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich and has completed the ASPRI honors program in Mechanical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano.
