Matthew Blackwell is a seasoned academic and data scientist with extensive experience in computational social science. From July 2014 to June 2018, Matthew served as an Assistant Professor and subsequently as an Associate Professor of Government at Harvard University, focusing on research and teaching in this field. Prior to that, Matthew was an Assistant Professor at the University of Rochester from July 2012 to June 2014. Since January 2025, Matthew has been working as a Staff Data Scientist at Google.
