Matthew Pateman

Matthew Pateman is a Staff UX Researcher at Google, currently focusing on Wear OS. They have previously worked with notable companies such as Simba Sleep, Oculus, Three UK, and Microsoft, specializing in user experience research across various domains including wearable technology and activity tracking. Matthew holds a BA (Hons) in Product Design from the University of the Arts London and multiple Master's degrees in Human-Computer Interaction and Interactive Multimedia, both achieved with distinction. Their research expertise encompasses a range of methodologies, including ethnographic studies and usability testing.
