Matthew Pietal is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience across various roles and companies. Beginning a career as a Software Developer at WizeTools in 2000, Matthew moved on to PMCC as a Lead Developer for an eLearning platform from 2001 to 2004. Following this, Matthew held the position of Director of Software Engineering at Fidelity Investments for a decade, focusing on large-scale financial applications. In December 2014, Matthew took on the role of Principal Software Engineer at MediaMath, where notable achievements included architecting cloud-native platforms capable of handling massive request loads and overseeing significant database migrations. Currently, Matthew serves as a Software Engineer at Google on the Android System UI team and is also a Co-Founder of Railway Games LLC, working on a cross-platform mobile game since January 2013. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Northeastern University, earned between 1997 and 2002.
