Matthew Witbeck

Matthew Witbeck is a Senior Human Factors Researcher with a background in Human Factors and Applied Psychology. They have a certificate in Usability and a Master's degree in Human Factors & Applied Cognition from George Mason University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Stockton University, where they graduated summa cum laude. With extensive experience as a mixed methods HF/UX specialist, Matthew has worked on high-impact projects for organizations like the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Defense, contributing to the design of security technologies and advanced user interfaces for military applications. Currently, they lead hardware Human Factors research for next-generation smartwatches and fitness trackers, focusing on user needs and stakeholder alignment.
