Mauro Moretto

Mauro Moretto is a Senior Data Scientist at Google and a PhD candidate in Economics at the Tepper School of Business, Carnegie Mellon University. Previously, they worked as a Senior Quantitative Analyst at Freddie Mac, managing a portfolio of Machine Learning models impacting a mortgage portfolio worth over two trillion dollars. Prior to that, Mauro held the position of Analyst at Goldman Sachs, where they performed macroeconomic analysis and developed expertise in sovereign yield-curve modeling. Additionally, they served as an instructor and graduate teaching assistant at Carnegie Mellon, where they developed and presented lectures related to economics and Machine Learning.
