Maya Shankar is an accomplished author, known for the book “The Other Side of Change: Who We Become When Life Makes Other Plans,” and is the creator of the acclaimed show “A Slight Change of Plans,” recognized as Apple’s Best Show of the Year in 2021. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Behavioral Economics at Google, Maya previously founded and chaired the White House Behavioral Science Team under the Obama administration from 2013 to 2017. With a rich academic background, Maya holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from Oxford University, a Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Science from Yale University, and completed a Pre-College Program at The Juilliard School, studying violin under Itzhak Perlman.
