Melody Wong is an experienced software engineer with a background in physics and astronomy. Wong began a career in technology as a co-op student at the National Research Council Canada in 2010, followed by various engineering roles at UrtheCast, UBC Sailbot, and a research internship at the University of British Columbia's Computer Vision Lab. Wong also contributed to D-Wave Systems Inc. as a software developer before joining Google in May 2020. Wong holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Astronomy and a second Bachelor of Computer Science, both from the University of British Columbia.
