Meng Wai Tan has extensive experience in pre-sales and solution architecture across various leading technology companies. During tenure at Oracle from December 2013 to February 2015, Meng Wai held multiple roles including Director of Enterprise Architecture and Chief Technologist for the telecommunications sector within the ASEAN region. At Red Hat, from September 2018 to September 2019, Meng Wai served as Senior Director and Head of Solution Architecture for GEMs, overseeing regions including ASEAN, Korea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. Currently at Google since May 2022, Meng Wai leads the Customer Engineering team for API Management Solutions in the Asia Pacific region, after previously heading customer engineering for the public sector in Asia Pacific and Japan from May 2020 to May 2022. Meng Wai also has a foundational background as an IT Architect in the telecommunications sector at Sun Microsystems, a Regional Technical Account Manager at SilverStream Software, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from the National University of Singapore.
