Menglin Liu

Menglin Liu is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in the technology sector, currently working at Google since March 2015. Menglin Liu earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology and subsequently obtained both a Master's and a PhD in Computer Science from the University of California, Davis. Research during the PhD focused on survivability in optical networks, where a new spectrum assignment scheme and shared protection approach were developed. Prior to Google, Menglin Liu worked at Cisco Systems, where significant contributions included designing a High Availability feature for directory services, and held internship positions at AT&T Labs, Inc., and Tsinghua University, engaging in optimization algorithms and information hiding research, respectively.
