Mi Tang is a software engineer currently employed at Google since August 2022 and previously served as a software engineer intern at Amazon from May 2021 to August 2021, where Mi Tang developed the FireTV private listening project, focusing on audio streaming with RTP encode/decode packets over UDP. Prior to the tech industry, Mi Tang worked as an engineer at HDR from March 2015 to January 2020, specializing in structural design and review for bridge and wastewater projects, among other federal initiatives. Mi Tang holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Northeastern University (2020-2022), a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University (2013-2014), and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Xiamen University (2009-2013).
