Miao Yu has extensive experience in human resources, beginning as a Graduate Assistant at the Office of Equal Opportunity and Access at the University of Illinois from August 2009 to May 2010. Miao Yu worked at Cummins Inc. as a Technical HR Generalist and HR Intern from January 2011 to September 2013, and then as an HR Generalist (Site HR Contact) until September 2013. Miao Yu joined Google in September 2013, serving as an HR Business Partner and subsequently as a People Partner for Google Search until April 2020. Miao Yu then transitioned to Waymo as a People Partner from April 2020 to October 2022. Miao Yu holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Economics and Trade from Renmin University of China, an Exchange Student Degree in Economics and Finance from City University of Hong Kong, and a Master’s degree in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
