Michael Angermann

Michael Angermann is a Principal Software Engineer, Technical Lead, and Manager at Google, where they have worked since 2014 in the Android Location & Context team. Previously, they held positions as a Postdoctoral Associate and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2012. Before that, Michael served as a Lecturer at Technische Universität München from 2010 to 2014 and as a Research Scientist at the DLR (German Aerospace Center) from 1998 to 2014. They earned a Dr.-Ing. in Information Technology from Universität Ulm and a Dipl.-Ing. in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Technische Universität München. Their expertise includes system modeling and design, Bayesian methods, and machine learning pipelines.
