Michael Brutman is a software engineer with extensive experience in operating systems, low-level libraries, and embedded firmware, now working as a Site Reliability Engineer at Google since 2013. Before this role, Michael developed next-generation hard drive firmware at HGST and contributed to high-performance computing projects at IBM for nearly two decades. Michael holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor's degree from the State University of New York at Oswego.
