Michael Frederick is an experienced software developer and engineering manager with a strong background in software engineering. Beginning a career at UCSD as a Software Developer from October 2005 to March 2008, Michael later interned at IBM for a brief period in 2006. From April 2008 to June 2016, Michael worked at Google, progressing from a Software Engineer to Engineering Manager, leading the development of Google Sheets. Michael continued at Google until September 2021, serving as the Engineering Manager for the same product. Michael holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from UC San Diego, completed in 2007, and completed undergraduate studies at the same institution from 2004 to 2006.
