Michael Hale

Michael Hale is a seasoned technologist and abolitionist with over 25 years of experience in building teams and scaling companies. Currently at Google, they lead significant security initiatives within Google Cloud Platform while also managing global infrastructure efforts and providing business intelligence solutions. Previously, Michael held key roles in YouTube's Data Engineering organization, where they managed GDPR compliance and music publishing projects, and at Cox Communications, where they drove major engineering projects and founded a security department. Michael's career began at Smith Micro Software, leading quality assurance before founding an innovative internet service provider, WebSafe.
