Michael Hamilton

Michael Hamilton is currently the James B. Davis Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Auburn University and leads Wiring & Packaging for Quantum Computing at Google Quantum AI. They previously served as a Staff Member at MIT Lincoln Laboratory from 2006 to 2010 and held various academic positions at Auburn University from Assistant Professor to Associate Professor before assuming their current role. Additionally, Michael was the Director of the Alabama Micro/Nano Science and Technology Center at Auburn University from 2016 to 2024 and worked as a Visiting Researcher at Google in 2022 to 2023. They received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Auburn University and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
