Michael Madaio is an accomplished researcher in the field of Human-Computer Interaction, holding a Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon University. Michael's professional experience includes roles as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Microsoft, with involvement in the Fairness, Accountability, Transparency, and Ethics in AI research group, and as a Senior Research Scientist at Google. In addition, Michael has served as a Research Assistant at the Center for 21st Century Universities and as a Research Intern at UNU-CS. Prior teaching experience includes positions as an English Teacher at Montgomery County Public Schools, a Computer Science Instructor at iLab Liberia, and a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology.
