Michael Pate

Michael Pate is an experienced audio and hardware engineer with a strong background in product line management and IC design. Michael's career includes significant roles at notable companies such as Audience, Inc. as Director and Senior Director of Product Management, Knowles Corporation as Director of Product Line Management, and Texas Instruments in various engineering capacities, where responsibilities included high power IC design and leading teams focused on Class-D amplifiers. Michael served as Principal Audio Engineer at Fitbit, overseeing audio and haptic systems, before transitioning to Google, where roles included Mobile Audio Systems/Algo/Architecture and Director of Audio Technology, with a focus on developing advanced audio platforms for Pixel products. Michael holds a Ph.D., MS, and BS in Electrical Engineering and Physics from Texas Tech University, as well as a Master's in Electrical Engineering from DTU - Technical University of Denmark.
