Michael Pohl is currently the Director of Engineering for Google Shopping, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Engineering Lead for Shopping assistance at Google and as the Senior Staff Software Engineer, where they were the technical lead and manager for the Shopping efforts on Google Assistant. Michael earned dual Bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Richmond, graduating in 2007.
