Michael Poniard

Michael Poniard currently serves as a Regional Financial Controller at Google, where employment began in November 2017, after previously holding the position of Accounting Manager within the same company. Prior experience includes a role as Financial Accountant at Independent News & Media, where responsibilities encompassed management reporting and budget preparations, alongside various positions such as Financial Controller and Acting Finance Director. Michael's career also includes an Audit Assistant Manager position at PwC, following an ACA Apprenticeship that began as a trainee accountant. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance and a Master’s Degree in Accounting from Dublin City University, as well as training from the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland.
