Michael Skinner is a seasoned network engineering professional with a diverse background in telecommunications and network operations. From January 2001 to June 2014, Michael served as a Senior Network Engineer at AT&T, where responsibilities included operationalizing and rolling out the AT&T Ultravailable Networking Service, contributing to the establishment of over 500 enterprise-grade managed photonic networks. Prior to AT&T, Michael worked as a Technical Assistance Center Engineer at Bellsouth e-Business Solutions, managing issues related to Data Center operations, and as a NOC Situation Desk Analyst at Delta Technology, handling critical outages within the Delta Air Lines global network. In June 2014, Michael joined Google as a Network Transport Engineer. Michael holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree from The University of Georgia, earned between 1985 and 1991.
