Michael Y. Lin

Michael Y. Lin, ScD, has extensive experience in research and user experience across various sectors, including health policy, human factors, and materials engineering. At Partners in Health, Lin contributed to health research in Rwanda and secured an R01 grant. As a Human Factors Research Scientist at Harvard Occupational Biomechanics Laboratory, Lin managed projects and mentored junior researchers while collaborating with Microsoft. At Google, Lin progressed from UX/HF Research Lead to UX Manager II, overseeing multiple research teams, guiding the development of hardware products, and managing substantial budgets. Prior experience includes roles at Newmont Corporation, Microsoft, UBC Material Engineering Laboratory, and Novelis, focusing on engineering and research excellence. Lin holds a degree from Harvard University.
