Engineering Director, SRE-SWE

Michelle Brush is currently the Engineering Director for Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) at Google, where they lead a globally distributed team dedicated to maintaining the reliability and efficiency of Google Compute Engine and Persistent Disk. Previously, they held various leadership roles at Cerner Corporation, including Director of Data Formation and HealtheIntent Architecture, where they focused on data assimilation, engineering culture, and technical strategy. With experience spanning multiple technologies and programming languages, Michelle is also an advocate for engineering education and actively speaks at conferences. They earned a B.S. in Computer Science from Missouri State University and further studied Computer Science at The University of Kansas.
