Michiel Sallaets

Michiel Sallaets is a seasoned public relations and communications expert currently serving as the Communications Lead for EMEA Technical Infrastructure at Google. Prior to this role, Michiel gained experience with prestigious organizations including Burson-Marsteller, Incofin Investment Management, and Hill & Knowlton, where they honed skills in media relations, crisis communication, and event planning. Michiel's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Communication Sciences from the University of Antwerp and a Bachelor’s in Public Relations from Plantijnhogeschool van de provincie Antwerpen, both earned with cum laude honors. They also have a strong proficiency in Spanish, developed during their studies at EF International Language School in Ecuador.
