Miguel Escassi

Miguel Escassi is the Head of Government Affairs and Public Policy for Google Spain and Portugal, bringing over 25 years of international experience in digital transformation and strategic management across corporate and public sectors. Previously, Miguel served as a digital transformation advisor to Spain's Vice President and held the position of Advisory Director at the Chilean Ministry of Economy, where they led the Smart Industry Program. They were also a partner at Oliver Wyman Consulting in New York, focusing on digital and telecom markets. A co-founder of Yoomers, a startup promoting collaborative experiences, Miguel is passionate about sustainability and has contributed to various initiatives on digital inclusion. Miguel holds multiple degrees, including a Master's in Management from Cornell University and a Master's in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Seville.
