Mihir Shah is a seasoned Security Engineering Lead at Google Cloud, where they focus on enhancing the security posture of cloud infrastructure and products. They authored the Amazon best-seller "Cloud Native Software Security Handbook" and are the creator of the OWASP VXDF standard. Previously, Mihir held roles at various organizations, including Security Engineering at Robinhood and Senior Staff Application Security Engineer at Ping Identity and ForgeRock, where they led security initiatives and assessments. Mihir is also an industry mentor at Stanford University, guiding future security leaders, and actively speaks at major AppSec and Cloud Security conferences. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Science in Cybersecurity at Northeastern University.
