Mike Cheng is currently the Partner Engineering Lead for Google Automotive Services, where they focus on integrating Google Maps, Assistant, and the Play Store with Android Automotive OS. Previously, they served as the Alliance Global Director of Software Development & UX at Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi from 2018 to 2020, and held various managerial roles at Mercedes-Benz Research & Development North America, Inc. between 2013 and 2014, where they directed the development of the “Digital DriveStyle App” and led teams in establishing the modern software foundation for the Mercedes-Benz User Experience. Mike is pursuing their education at the University of California, Davis.
