Mingyang Zhang is a software engineer at Google DeepMind, where they focus on Gemini pretraining and the XLA:TPU compiler. They previously held positions as a Senior Software Engineer at Google and as a Research Intern at both Microsoft Research Asia and HP Labs. Mingyang has a Doctorate in Computer Science from the University of Southern California and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering at the Harbin Institute of Technology and the University of Science and Technology of China, respectively.
